The winter AID kicked off with a bike sale on Monday since studying and attending an introduction week in the Netherlands without a bike is unthinkable. Also on the programme: a pub quiz, a big party, an information market, a sports day and a three-course Dutch meal.
The Dutch dishes were prepared by the international student association ESN on Wednesday evening. They served the meal at the SSR-W student association. Students joining the winter AID tasted three Dutch specialities: bitterballen, boerenkool (green kale) and apple pie. The meal was vegetarian, in line with the rest of the winter AID catering.
