This Van Hall Larenstein student society had invited its sister society USRA from Dronten for a so-called ‘dirty exchange’. This is an old tradition which requires the visiting society to try to take over the bar from the host. The students flung themselves into the battle and pelted one another with syrup, chilli sauce, onions, flour and cooked spaghetti.
