Resource student editor Susan van Weperen often carelessly passed them, till, one day, she realised that the objects she saw at the building entrance were not objects of art but firepits. Susan: ‘Getting together with friends to light a fire in the evening is great, especially on the dark winter’s evening, as the flames warm you and cast a lovely light. And, you can organise a potluck dinner around the fire, where everyone brings something to roast, such as vegetables, marshmallows and hotdogs.’
