It is no longer possible to vote online. Due to a technical error, it was possible to cast multiple votes per person. As a result, we can not guarantee a fair outcome of the public vote. Our apologies for this. The 2024 Cover Prize will therefore be awarded solely on the basis of the judgment of the jury. The results will be announced in early 2025.
The choice had never been as wide as this year. After last year, the harvest of dissertations has once again reached a record. With a few weeks to go, the count will probably reach 381. For the annual Cover Prize, Resource’s science editors selected the best ten covers. In their opinion anyway.
As usual, the overall picture was the deciding fastor in this choice. Does the cover reflect the subject of the research? Does the dissertation have a catchy title? How creative is the lettering? Would this work look out of place in a bookstore? The choice is subjective of course. Nevertheless, the procedure will result in a deserved winner.
One of the ten nominated covers takes the title. An expert jury and the visitors of this site will determine which cover that will be. The public vote can be cast below. Voting is only allowed once. The poll closes on January 2 at 12 noon Dutch time. In the event of a tie, the jury’s decision will be decisive.
